Failure

written by: fallenangel1

Like dew that drips down the rose petals,

Tears trickle down her cheeks.

Failure is hard to take in, yet she just sits and weeps.

Oh, how I wish I could comfort her, that strange girl in the mirror.

Her voice shakes, cracks, squeaks, and tremors.

All the noises so hard to keep.

The time is right, she is ready to go.

Because that's what she needs to do,

Because it is what's expected,

Because she simply had to.

She had already drowned in her river of tears.

But she is stronger than that, the sun dries up the river, time passes.

And just like that, she is no different from you or me.

Free like a bird, she listens and believes in her true feelings.
