My Misery

written by: OurSacredHonor

She's the devil on my shoulder
The weather when it gets colder
And sends shivers down my spine
She does it all the time
She beckons for a kiss with her fingertips
Though icicles hang from her lips
She can't just let me be
She's my misery

They say misery loves company
And she is no exception
I don't know what she wants from me
But she's heading my direction
Left over right, she's wrapped so tight
But it's all a deception
What I want to believe that I know won't ever be
Is just a common misconception
