How it's meant to be...

It is hard to say it
But harder to believe
That everyone is where they are meant to be.
The words they came definitely too slowly
as I'm gripping to the pieces left by these scares.

because I never wanted to go
And I never bleed to let it show
Keeping all this inside, I made myself die
Now I'm dealing with the reasons why I'm left alone
And nothing can take it all away

I never said it had to be easy
No one said it had to flow smoothly
I'm staring out at the mirror watching them fall,
Dripping into a puddle on the floor;
These tears are pulling me down
Because kept them in for long

because I never wanted to go
And I never bleed to let it show
Keeping all this inside, I made myself die
Now I'm dealing with the reasons why I'm left alone
And nothing can take it all away

I never wanted it this way
It's funny how I never tried to stay
I wish I believed what you tried to say
When you told me your heart was mine
That you'll always be by my side...
