Just Like Water

written by: JustWaiting

The magician waits
His red cloak flowing
Like blood down stairs
His green eyes masked
With a black silk strap
That hides his true inhibition
His true intuition
And let's his fantasies
Come alive
A wave of his wand
And snow-white doves soar
A snap of his fingers
And your lover reappears
Much to your dismay
This masked man
Looks like a god
He'd turn meager water
A simple,
Plain
Liquid
That's so sustainable to life
Into a deep red
Delectable
Liquid that flows like his
Bloody cape
But he knows
He can't
He is a magician
No matter what he does
It's all an illusion
And that deep red wine
Still tastes just like water
