One day you'll be standing there waiting for me
To catch up and love you
And one day I'll be standing there waiting for you
To catch up and love me

But for now we'll both stand here together
And watch the sun go down with all our friends
And as each star enters the night's stage
We'll smile because we know, what we have will never end

One day you'll be sitting there waiting for me
To call you and tell you I love you
And one day I'll be sitting there waiting for you
To call me and tell me you love me

But for now we'll both sit here together
And listen to this song play on and on
And when silence takes the air between us
Then we'll smile because we know, what we have will never end

For me to come and love you
