The Strong Feelings of Love

I don't understand
these feelings that I get.
How can someone feel so strong
about someone they just met?

I look deep into your eyes
and completely I can see,
everything I want and need,
is right in front of me.

I want to run into your arms
if I had a bad day.
I know with just a touch,
you would make it all go away.

I can see the wonderful life
we would have together.
If I just open up my heart
we could be forever.

My heart keeps trying
to fool my mind.
What they say is true,
love is blind.

How can I feel
as if you've always been there.
Can I admit that I love you?
Do I even dare?

But that scares me
and I don't know what to do.
I ask myself if I deserve
someone as amazing as you.

I know I'd be happy
the rest of my days.
If I could be with you
my passion would be ablaze.

I would love, support
and devote to you my heart.
If I can let you in,
the perfect life we could start.
