You're the girl who wears plaid dresses
You play odd instruments,
and wear vintage glasses
You get straight A's
Smoke a pipe,
and put on illegal plays

You're the girl who drinks eight cups of coffee
You read the newspaper
and watch table hockey
You're the girl who doesn't use her body
and isn't attracted to those stupid male hotties

You're the girl who isn't afraid to fight,
Eat off the ground, and stay up all night
You're the girl with that 1960's haircut
and you don't walk around with a strut

You're the girl that reads literature
and steals thrift store furniture
You're the girl that reads Edgar Allen Poe
And you don't freeze when you're in the snow
