Kathryn

written by: UsKidsKnow

So odd, this rare heat in my soul
You look so quiet, standing straight
You're standing a head under me.

Kathryn, please try to understand
I'm quiet too, though I don't show it
My jokes build me up, hide me away.
The truth is, I don't know who I am.
But every time I try to learn
I don't like what I see inside of me.

Can you ever love a mystery like me?
When all I know is self loathing?
When all I am is just this tacky act?

Kathryn, please try to understand
I'm quiet too, though I don't show it
My jokes build me up, hide me away.
The truth is, I don't know who I am.
But every time I try to learn
I don't like what I see inside of me.

You look so pretty when you smile
and you're pretty when you concentrate
Basically, what I'm saying is you're always pretty.

And I will stay to figure you out
If you could stay to figure me out.
And I will stay to figure you out
If you could stay to figure me out.
And I will stay to hold you close
If you could try to heal my heart.
And I will stay to cuddle with you
Or hang out with you, or kiss you
I will be here to help you when you're sad
I will be here to hold hands with you
If you could be here to love me

I can feel that, there is alot of emotion in it.
your words are beautiful. i liked the lines:

"The truth is, I don't know who I am.
But every time I try to learn
I don't like what I see inside of me"

i think we can relate to that feeling sometimes.
