In these deserts
No love is found
All the cracks have dried up...like a dead man's veins
And they're stretched out like strains
Only indicating a life filled with pain
Still awaiting the rain...
In vain

In these dried out deserts
Stength is what you need
And a strong will to survive
In these dried out deserts
No one makes it out alive

Get down on you knees
Hold your hands up high
Scream out all your needs
To the silence of the sky

In these dried out deserts
You are not alone
When the sky reveals its countless eyes at night
You know someone must be watching you for sure

So reach out when the going gets tough
When you think you just had enough
Reach down in your heart
Down in your soul
And you will find that there is hope
Even in these dried out deserts
