Lights Out 2

written by: UsKidsKnow

Sometimes the light blinds my eyes
Sometimes the darkness is so inviting
Because in the darkness one cannot see
The imperfections of my shattered life, gone
And so I sit, and let the darkness overtake me.

When the light shines, you see the scars
You see my broken heart on my sleeve
In the dark you cannot see me
And I in turn can forget about you
It's as if I'm not really here

And yet, the interogation light is always on
Always shining on this hallowed face
I guess it's my friends being there for me
But sometimes I don't want them here
Sometimes I don't want to be here
