Love is Blind But You Shouldn't Be

If I could give you but one minute
Of vision through my eyes
I promise I could take away
All those hopeless sighs
I'd brighten up your view of things
And maybe to your surprise
You'll realize these feelings that you once were feeling
Appear on the other side
Let him go
You deserve better than you know

I see past the sorrow
I see to tomorrow
I see more than you may dream
I see what you've been through
I see what you can do
I see more than it may seem

I would never lie to you
Therefore you know this is true
We've been through this, so you've heard it before
I just wish I could give you more
But my hands are tied
By my own device
I reach towards you with a hesitance
That's rather hard to hide
I've tried and I've tried
As my insides twist
Another chance just missed
Again I find this thought in mind:
Maybe on another timeline
Maybe in another life
But not this time
