Burden of Truth

I don't wanna do this
Don't make me do this
I don't want to prove this
To you, this is stupid
I feel like a kid
Arguing with his parents
Discontent
Fragmented
Sentences
Relinquish the pen
Before you hurt yourself again
Words are a weapon
And I'll use them against
Whomever I have to
Whenever I see fit
Expel a few lines
And be done with it
When will you learn?
You testing me will get you burned
If you're concerned
With what occurred
You should have asked your questions first
The worst-case scenario
Is what's inside your head
Do you think this'll be a problem
When I'm lying next to you in bed?
I sure as hell don't think so
Cuz you're bound to let it go
The second I approach you slow
And with my lips I let you know
It's not a Judas kiss
I promise you this
My words on paper will always stay true
I just hope that they are true enough for you
