The Mask of Opportunity

written by: OurSacredHonor

What are you afraid of?
You've been down before
Are you going to spend all of your time
Getting reacquainted with the floor?
Why the hesitation?
You were so confident before
Did you let your spine grow another set of legs
And walk right out your door?

Enough!
Get up!
Stop thinking and move!
You're stuck in a rut
Listen to your gut
You've got nothing to prove
To anyone except yourself
To hell with the opinions of anyone else
The hour glass has emptied
The timer has run out
It's do or die
Better stay alive
Isn't that what life is about?
No!
Living is about so much more
Where's your sense of adventure?
This isn't a guided tour
There is no teacher, there is no mentor
Sometimes the only way through a forest
Is to blaze your own trail
Sometimes the only way to succeed
Is at first, to fail
So when struggle rears its ugly head
And the odds pile up insurmountably
Remember that a challenge is merely
The mask of opportunity

So, so...I like the idea...we all face the same, but too much description for my taste....I myself am still learning less is more he he, but the point of the song is very good.

I like this one! It's so true... but harder to live by for some than others.
