I hate every wing
On every plane
that tries to take
You away from me
And I hate every track
Under every train
That tries to take
You away from me
And I hate every route
Of every bus
That tries to take you
Away from us
And I hate every wheel
On every car
That takes you from me
To places so far (away)
And I hate every rutter
On every boat
That leaves this shore
And stays afloat
But most of all
I hate how I know
All I want is for you to
come back home
