Can't let them see

A girl stays up the night sobbing in her bed
While all her friends sleep, she wishes she was dead
They can't hear and they can't see
The silent tears or the misery

She walks through the day
Nothing is wrong
She smiles, she laughs
She sings the same old song

Life is fine and I'm ok
I can live life from day to day
Keep a smile on my face
Don't let them see the hurt

Gotta hide the pain from these eyes
Gotta hide behind all these lies
I won't let them hear and I won't let them see
my silent tears or my misery

Another day is gone just another one to go
Counting days away longing to be free
But counting down to what?
YOU CAN NEVER BE FREE!!

You can never break away from all these lies
You can never take the pain from these eyes

Just remember to keep the smile on your face
Gotta hide the pain from your eyes
Gotta hide behind all your lies
You can't let them hear and you can't let them see
