Power Overwhelming

The pressure crashes down
Like the weight of the crown
Of corrupted aristocracy
Disrupting democracy
This hierarchy
With its antiquity
Meticulously
Enacts control over me
And I begin to see
Exactly
What I never want to be

Stock brokers
Putting chokers
On the general public
Of this so called republic
Whose economy
Is run by the greedy
Who destroy the needy
Ever so slowly
So you and me
Competitively
Reluctantly
Destructively
Use industry
Boost productivity
Walk over the weak
As we seek
To tower
Over cowards who cower
In fear of our ultimate power

Power to overwhelm
Everything in this realm
Power Overwhelming

We seek it
We sew it, we reap it
But can we keep it?
No but we'll be it
We'll take over and we can't be stopped
Can't be topped
By anyone in the biz
It'll be just us kids
Nothing but hits
Leaving them in cold fits
Clenched fists
Beating on realists
Who think they can prove us wrong
So I keep singing this song
As we move along
Stomping everything in our paths just like King Kong
You know I'm right just admit it
And quit it
And spare yourself the misery
Open your eyes and maybe then you'll see
