where they call cd's albums
and concerts shows
where shoes are pernamently tied
and basses aren't played with bows
where you constantly argue with your parents
and there's a difference between hardcore and scene
where your friends are your family
and you vote on prom queens
where relationships come and go
and your still waiting for your first time
where there's five mintutes between classes
and you buy bags called dimes
where you smoke cigarettes with coffee
and get pierced and tatoo'd
where homework isn't done
and you always break curfew
where you cut school to hang out at the mall
and go to house parties on friday nights
where there's only part time jobs
and every lunch period there's a fight
where songs are organized on ipod's
and screen names are preferred over phone numbers
where weekend plans are your first priority
and you reflect on how things once were
