Runaway and Waste

Runaway to that safe place
Runaway just to save face
Runaway so you can't taste
The future you're so willing to waste

You fear the risk that offers hope
You'd rather runaway and just cope
With the decision
That left you burdened
With regret within
You'll be hurtin'

You have the choice to make things right
You think about it day and night
And you runaway
Yet another day
From the fear that controls you in everyway

You're scared to lose, scared to fail, so you give in
You'll be consumed by the fumes of regret within
Scared to lose so you can't win
Try to hide behind that fake grin
You're thoughts are sealed, entrance forbidden
But you forget that even with that fa?ade, your eyes tell me all that is hidden

Runaway my love
Runaway from here
Runaway my love
Runaway in fear

Runaway to that safe place
Runaway just to save face
Runaway so you can't taste
