A life that was forgiven
and a life that was forgotten
Left an empty soul
and a heart that has a hole
and a girl in a lonely world.

A life that was mistaken
and a life was almost taken
Left a dream that was left behind
and a never-resting mind
and a girl that stays up all night.

Angels in heaven, is there God above?
Who do you care for? Who do you love?
Answer Please, answer please.

A life that is worth living
and a life was always giving
Left a pair of distrusting eyes
and a memory of empty lies
and a girl that isn't well.
