Eternal flame
Can't be tamed
There's no shame
In looking for fame
No finger pointing I won't take the blame
Because when I came
Into this game
It was lame
It all sounded the same
So I'll maim
The weak and proclaim
That this streak
Is everlasting
As all time is passing
I'll just keep blasting
?Til my dying day
So keep adding fuel to the fire
Of my desire
As I inspire
And perspire
Raise me higher
I'll be admired
It's your dire
Necessity to inquire
"Hold on, what just occurred?"
While it comes down to the wire
Each word is more absurd
Adjectives, nouns, and verbs
This blurb's
Disturbed
And perturbed
And unheard of
I'll rise above and beyond
And just when you think I'll keep going on
...
A cloud of dust and I'm gone

My hopes have soared
But the crowd hasn't roared
I haven't toured
But still my soul is poured
Out my vocal chords
I can't afford
To just sit back like a coward
I'm not like a noble or lord
I'm more like a knight, my words are my sword
And when I'm bored
I rip at the spinal chords
Of spineless cowards
As I tower
Over them with overwhelming power
And I devour
My chance, this is my hour
I'll make it last, won't go sour

And fear it
Your ears adhere to it
And stay dear to it
Cuz you appear to it
So near to it
So don't try to mirror it
Cuz it's clear to it
That doing this
May just put your life at risk
But you insist
That life won't get better than this
So you push the blade deep into your wrist
Fulfilling your very own death wish
You selfish bitch
How could you just not give a shit
About life and its gifts
And the people by whom you'll be missed
You're just clueless
So let me clue you in with a little list
About to hit you in the face like a fist
Just to exist
Should be enough
But if life's still to tough
For you to appreciate it
I can debate it
You say you hate it?
Well wait a minute
What about the love you'll discover
The secrets you'll uncover
It's still not worth it?
What about the world you don't know
The places you'll go
Still feeling low?
The past
It's behind you just like your ass
So sit on it
And learn from it
And use it as fuel, burn from it
The future is unknown
You'll be grown
And you just can't tell
Me that this hell
Will continue
If you don't want it to
So just do what you do
And get through
Just so you
Can get to tomorrow
Forget your sorrow
Forget the strife
And keep living life

Now enough of this talk of suicide
Since we're both still alive
I'll get back to the story
People can't see
Inside of me
The things I hide so readily
And steadily
It weighs me down heavily
This depressive medley
Can be deadly
Drive me right off a jetty
This weight is heavy
And it's hard to steady
My priorities cuz I'm not ready
To let these petty
Things hold me back


When I return
You'll learn
That the fire still burns
And you'll yearn
To discern
What doesn't concern
You, it's not your turn
So just sit back
Kick back and relax
Don't feel taxed
With frustration, anticipating
The next attack
As the sky turns black
Cuz the fact
Of the matter
Is life's getting sadder
And I'm getting badder
And I am the batter
Swinging crazy like the mad hatter
While I'm climbing up the ladder
Each swing and hack
Aimed at everything that you lack
And the explosives are packed tight
Dropping words like bombs, all damn night
Because you're like a blight
On my character, alright?
Yes I'm madatcha
The damager
A failure of anger managers
World wide
As I coincide
A lyrical high tide
Composed of rhythm and rhyme
With these minions in line
In this dominion of mine
We'll wine and dine
While my fire keeps on burning 'til the end of time
