Isn't It

Frustration
In a relation
With my days spent
Debating
The same situation
That I still am hating
And I still am waiting
For the fateful day
When you go away
The day it all gives way
Because you wouldn't stay
The day
you do what you think is right
And it all goes down the drain
Drown in the pain
That spirals in your brain
It'll drive you insane
You're a runaway train
With no sense of direction
You feel no need for correction
You just barrel on until you hit another wall

Another call
Another fall
But still you crawl
Back to the ones who pick you up
Just to kick you right back down
To the ground
Its cold and damp still isn't it?

All these emotions
Still inside
All of this hurting my pride
I won't lie
I wanna cry
But i won't let these tears leave my eyes
So I hide
It all inside
I'll take it all in stride
As I choke
Swallowing my pride
There's nobody left on my side
So I'm left all alone
My true fear bites deep to my bone
But I suck it up, I take it in
I know in time that I will win
You turn away
You don't trust me
And cuz you don't you'll bust, you'll see
One day soon
You are doomed to slam right back into that wall

Another call
Another fall
But still you crawl
Back to the ones who pick you up
Just to kick you right back down
To the ground
Its cold and damp still isn't it?

I'm gonna do things my way
Out on this lonely highway
I know this road won't go away
The asphalt will be just as black on my dying day
So I trust myself, and I trust the skies
Most times their the only two to hear my cries
But I'll make my way, I don't care
I can make it anywhere
Just bite my tongue, don't let it slip
Pack my bags and make the trip
You need this so much more than me
But your eyes are veiled and you can't see
Their lies betray and hide you from reality
Shelter you in comfort from a dreadful sea
That's black as coal
It will swallow you whole
And if you don't drown
Then don't bother to call
Because before you've gone too far you'll crash into that wall

Another call
Another fall
But still you crawl
Back to the ones who pick you up
Just to kick you right back down
To the ground
Its cold and damp still isn't it?
Its dark and dank still isn't it?
It's a losing fight still isn't it?
It's black as night still isn't it?
