The Bald and The Beautiful (2007)

written by: alf hickey

Once I thought my balding head
Would see me never get a girl to wed
Because society pushes perceptions on you
At which I spit and I say boo

Hair is unsensual till you get it on your tongue
Then its a battle to stop it entering your lung
You'll cough and choke, Its worse than smoke
Makes one vain till they're insane

So I say because of the heat in this day
The hairy cuts I get from falling off my bike
And pressured perception prejudiced to the blind
The superficiality of the Posh Spice Bob

Shave it off, just Shave it off
Mortal youth through a baby's bald cranium
Like a person exposed for a time to uranium
Recede I say, do it today

One day when the nanobots take over
And we sit down eating lots of pavlova
And the nits no longer have a home
The bots deleting hair as they roam

Then all bald men will taste like Max Brenner
And they'll be considered art as Yul Brenner
And Kojac gets dragged into the sack
Then the bald will get their dignity back !
