Contrast and Solidarity

written by: OurSacredHonor

Contrast and solidarity
Emptiness and unity
Continuous hypocrisy
What the hell's become of me?
My eyes are shut but still I see
These frightful sights so vividly
They pass so fast it's all so blurry
But when it stops I can see it all clearly
We fall awake to anonymity
We rise to sleep with hopes eternally
Of a brighter yesterday that will rest again peacefully
And a darkened future shadows our philosophy
Decaying hope being thrown away by the aristocracy
A dog eat dog world full of anarchy
Media normalizes murder through mockery
Headlines read "Society sues death for grand larceny"
People accept this unknowingly
Sign away there souls so easily
Relationships made unfaithfully
Society assumes its own intelligence so foolishly
Statements made oppositely
To contradict one another and lead us blindly
Into the night that deceives us so evilly
But once our eyes are unveiled we shall see the lack of plausibility
Wandering down an empty road with no purpose, living aimlessly
Live your life with no regrets and go through your life shamelessly
No purpose, no aim, no regrets, no shame, just a game that is taken to seriously
With purpose, and aim, with regrets, and shame, this game becomes a conspiracy
