Transcendent Liberation

written by: cajunjew

Music fills a night of familiarity
When the morning comes
The day brings new associations
But the trek to get there, hazardous

A night of profligacy
Were all nights like this?
How depraved was it?
Positive most of all

In a turnabout way
Unhealthy and immobile
The days meander on
Continuing to be all too much

Overload
At once and each one
The journey from then is far
And how far to have already come

Come in and be welcome
Enjoy the comforts of home
For where this deep heritage lies
A visitor may be a friend

How long has it been?
A place of rewritten destiny
O'er destruction from wrath
When is it really worth the risk?

Jump, swim, and laugh
Dance and embrace
Confront the nervous issue
Assisted by tender loving care

Hath karma a soul of its own?
To feel it is to be seasick
Splashing against the sides
Aggression subdued

When the loss is vanquished
Mush nastiness in the whispers
From within ere much needed experience
The transcendent liberation begins

Taken deep within the heart
An awakening of a sort
Already learning, still recovering
Responsibility thrown to the wayside

Serendipity salvaged
Missing out on something good
From deep inside to way up above all things
Thus the opportunity seized

Irrationality from trauma
To facilitate further growth
Until the Boundaries are torn down
Ere after have peaceful rest

And those that have come and gone
Vanquish in the tranquility of night once more
The world is alive and continues to spin
Lest unforgotten foolish risks continue to reap
