Secret feeling pass
Between the lonely and the lonesome
Hot and cold, positive and negative,

Meeting at last
And too bad
Initial impressions are trite

Preoccupied with something else
Disinterested in incoming affection
Lost on the fast track of life

Meeting finally
What a shame
Uneasy unfulfilling moments

Single-minded in direction
Without conscious or reason
A figment of the imagination

Identical in reaction
A perfectly separated paradox
In a cynical world
