Test Drive

written by: pixiegem

You never put in the effort
All I ever felt like was a convenience
Only there for when it worked for you
You said you didn't like talking on the phone
You said you were too busy
Your friends meant more than me
I guess I was only a test drive

Swerve here, stop short there
Treat me like a piece of junk
It doesn't matter if you crash
Because I'm the only one who will burn
My engine is shot to hell
Exterior mangled, totaled inside and out
But it doesn't matter to you though
Because I was only a test drive

So who was the dummy?

Intersting how you relate a bad relationship with a 'test drive'. As said before, good analogy, but try to go deeper.
