Don't get too close coz i won't let you in,
If you ask me why i won't know where to begin.
Over the years people have only caused me pain,
So i promised myself never to let anyone get too close again.
Boyfriends used me and played me as if i were a game,
So i promised myself never to get too close coz they're all the same.
You say you're different and that you won't cause me any pain,
But if i let you in you might drive me insane.
So don't feel offended if i don't want you near,
It's just that i don't want anything i can't bear.
