Something Great

Sitting here alone just passing the time
Suddenly a thought of you crosses my mind
At that very moment a smile passes my lips
And I get a feeling of warmth down to my fingertips
It can happen anytime, it does not matter
And when it does all other thoughts seem to scatter
It seems like I've been searching forever for someone like you
And sometimes I think that you're too good to be true
But I know that real you are because I feel it inside
My feelings for you I couldn't hide even if I tried
I just can't wait to see what else I learn
And to tell you all about me in return
So I propose a this to you on this date
Here's to the start of something great
