The Ghost of You and Me

The pictures so faded now
But I need to get through somehow
And I can't see me
I can't see you
But I guess that these feelings stay true
Its the Ghost of me and you
Staring at the empty playground
Looking through to the past
I should have known that this
That this wouldn't last
That it wouldn't pass
The test of time
Try to get me back
To a time when my ghost was mine
To a time when I knew who I was
And what I lacked
Was nothing cause
I'm not the same today
I second guess myself
You're always there for me
When I can't figure out myself
Even though I can't see you
I guess these feeling will stay true
Its the Ghost of me and you
If this is from the heart
And you ripped it apart
Would you be breaking my heart?
I don't know why I even start
But I guess these feeling will stay true

And I know you've
Moved on and moved away
I just want it to all to be like it was
Like it was yesterday
I still see you every now and then
And I still know you care
And I always will know
That you will be right there
And these feeling still stay true
Even though I'm living with the ghost of me
