Star Studded Boy

Star Studded Boy

He's a star studded boy with the world at his feet.
He looks good in the rain, and can't keep a beat.
Insane as it is he sculpted my heart,
The one who outshone all that is dark
His wistfulness, sparked an interest in me.
A master at the slight of hand,
Barely a scar on his porcelain skin.
His mind does the work his hands would not dare.
He feels, without feeling; perfumed notes on air.
I breath him in, slow and deep
His voice still echoing in my outlandish dreams
The heat of his hand as his touch graces my skin,
My imperfections laid open for him.

March turns to spring, he's reeling me in,
In his blue suede eyes the sun becomes dim.
The thrill in his smile catches my breath,
I stumble over words I ought not to forget.
A troublesome look, a placid gloss in his eyes
Weakens my knees, a part of me dies.
As twilight fades the moon overrides,
My fear. He whispers the saddest goodbye.

All this time I thought I was the one who was sad,
But he refuses to remember the good times we had.
I'm not sorry it's over, I can't keep the past,
Lose yourself in the race and you lose what you grasp.
He runs wild with scissors, yet he never trips,
How is that he's the boy that taught me to forgive.
When all I can show are the insecurities a foolish girl holds.
His crooked smile and luminous eyes, his radiant perfection he cannot hide.
All but memories that grow to lack luster and ashen with time.
Let go, false accusations, engraved in stone;
I'll open my arms and welcome you home.

Hi JTG18.
I've read this one, and will keep reading the others... and then try and give you an opinion.
