The rain slowly falls
And hits the ice cold cement
As you sit back and think
I just sit and lament
All the wrongs in my life
And all the things I've done right
The discredited deeds
This knowledge that feeds
Into our soul
And slowly makes us all lose control

For all the times I've been blamed
For the same old same
They tried to put me to shame
And make just another person with no name

No matter how hard I tried
All these times I had to run and hide
Seclude myself from the world
As another master plan is unfurled
All the times I begged forgiveness
All the times I fell so helpless
