I found myself
In a photo with a familiar stranger
The temptation overflowing between noses
Brushing lips bring locked eyes
Caught in a moment of curiosity
And he can see romance
Distantly standing still in my eyes.

-----

You rest under a sweating sun
As it trips over the red rocks
Bleending through a city
Full of clay houses and hungry nocturnal beasts.

And I sit and wonder who
Tosses this snow-globe I ive in
As feathers fall and coat
The freeze stricken maples and uncovered hands.
