The tide rolls in

The waves roll in
bouncing onto the shore.
I see you in the distance
lost forever more.
Stones are cast into the lake
bidding you farewell.
Only the light can bring you back,
to take the blindess from your eyes.
And only cleansing water
can wash the dirt from your soul.
But now we say goodbye
as the waves distance us.
When you're healed
we'll meet again.
