Fire
Crystals of heat and flames climbing the walls
Destructive, unrelenting....beautiful
Roaring engines coming to my aid
To suffocate what is already consumed.

Blood
Flowing river of life giving breath within
Warm, comforting...chilling
To keep, to give, to release or spill
What is lost is forgotten; what is given, lives.

Love
Wave of feelings and emotions overtaking your being
Pounding, merciless...vertigo
You search far and deep, wounding the soul
The pleasure of the find, the hardship to hold

Kiss
A petals touch, to the naked skin
Sensuous, soft...inviting
The touch of your lips, conquering this divide
Holding me still, falling for your warm embrace

Over the waves, the sunset is but a memory
The crimson sky fading away with the wind's release
I think about you one last time
Wishing again for one last kiss.
