Floating Through Space

Floating through space
A cosmic jungle
Your on a guilt trip
Full of denial
There you stand again
Once again you're on trial
Break free of the chains that held you back
Look out into the darkness all you see is black
Floating through space
Try to find yourself out here
Don't second guess yourself
Or your sense of fear
As I gaze into your eyes
A tear rolls down your face
And maybe for a second I think no one belongs in this place
Floating through space
The transparency
You can see right through me
You can see my lies
And you can contemplate what I feel inside
You can see the words I speak
And feel the burning heat
Floating through space
No feels real
You never can tell how you feel
Three-dimensional objects
They all seem so surreal
To see things clearly you have to blur the line
To see them through a point of view that is mine
Floating through space is where I find myself in time
