Shadow of Chivalry

written by: gilligan3

Click Clack, Click Clack
High Heeled slippers sing
As a girl not quite a woman walks a silent street
With her a creature so foul walks wearing the visage of a man

To be alone in the darkness of the night
This beast has put up quite a clever fight
And in his mind earned his right
On her poor soul to feast tonight

Then his savage nature breaks free
Longing so much for what it thinks is now an eventuality
And she gasps in shock at unheard of words
Then giggles not knowing what they mean

Alas tho she heard them not alone
And a shadow separates itself from the darkness
To intercept this beast's herd-picking
Then only demanding honor from it's wicked heart

For Naught! For beasts are so always
And can only be not when not so in heart
So said shadow defends the honor this young lady has yet to gain
When darkness is again still, one stands this night
The shadow against evil forever no matter how small the plight
