bowing out gracefully

written by: Acquired Taste

what happened to the friendship we had? where did it go to. cut out the bed and there'll be nothing left? please tell me that's not true. when i needed you the most, you looked the other way. have you ever watch something fall, you think in your head, this is about to hit the ground and break, but you can't do anything about it, you just watch it...fall... and break. thats how i feel about your love, our friendship. im just standing here, watching it fall and there's nothing i can do about it. you watch it too, but you don't seem to care, and i dnt think you ever will. am i not suppose to care? am i suppose to let it end? smile and walk away? your actions were the answer to my questions. so i will. you were my best friend.
i'm losing you and its effortless.
"I've heard it said, that people come into our lives for a reason. Bringing something we must learn. And we are led to those who help us most to grow if we let them and we help them in return. Well, I don't know if I believe that's true, but I know I'm who I am today because I knew you."
So now im bowing out gracefully, cause its already hit the ground and theres nothing i can do. the more i tried, the faster it fell.
i hope this isnt forever, it's never too late to save a friendship.
