The Eyes of a Child

written by: Sweet Insanity

I wish I could experience that pure exhilarating giddiness of a child,
That I could watch a bubble rise in the air and want for nothing,
To swing on a swing and let the world disappear behind me

I wish that I could leave all stress behind
And for one day forget to worry,
Forget to feel pain,
Forget to panic

The moments of true relaxation are few and far between
When I allow myself to let go
To just breathe and be me

I Restrict myself
Censor myself
Hide myself

I can't wait to allow myself to let go,
To just breathe,
But I'm not sure how

I wish I could experience that pure exhilarating giddiness of a child,
That I could feel the innocent rush of abandon
To run and jump into a pile of autumn leaves while giggling

I wish I could FORGET everything
And live life through the eyes of a child
