I sat hunched in the doorway. It wasn't Dan's arms that found it round me first. It was Katie. I didn't have the strength to push her away. A lonely tear escaped my eye making it down my cheek. "Shhh," her voice so familiar, the same voice that always used to sooth me when I cried, the same voice that taught me so much, the voice, that made me you I am. The voice that used to put me back together, was tearing me apart. I sat, and I broke down in her arms. She stroked my hair, "I'm so sorry" I clung to her desperately. And for the first time since she left me, I felt loved. "I won't ever leave you again, I won't ever go, I won't."
