Note to Self

written by: Sweet Insanity

Don't let yourself get buried in the little stuff that doesn't really matter. You know who you are, most of the time. You need to discover yourself inside and out. Love yourself! Or at least be ok with who you are. If there is something you're not thrilled with about yourself, change it! Only you can do that. You are more powerful than you think.
Learn to let go! Be able to take the little things said or done at work and leave them there. They may seem like the most important thing at the time, but in the long run, it's just work. And remember, a work day is just a day you happen to work, it doesn't end at 5 o'clock! Let yourself have life!
Know your priorities! Figure out what really does matter and stick to it! Don't let other things take control of your LIFE! It's your life! You only get to live it once, so stop wishing the days away hopping things will get better and make things better! You want to be happy, stop wishing for it and make it happen!
Learn to let yourself be happy. Stop waiting for the other shoe to drop. Stop reminiscing about the best year of your life and make this the new best year ever. Only you can figure out what's important and how to get what you want.
Take a day off every now and then to re-evaluate. Go out alone, to the beach, for a walk, for a drive. Figure out what your plans are and if you're sticking to them. Are you letting the little things bother you? Stop yourself!
You're ok. Let yourself be ok. There are people who care about you and want you to be happy; nothing more, nothing less. They don't care if you're the richest, smartest, best looking, or most organized. Just that you can love yourself, love them, and are happy.

Breathe! Relax! Smile! Laugh! It's not that serious! Enjoy the Sweet Insanity that life has to offer!
