Chuey's Way

written by: ValleyGirl

The sun was out and bright! Sunshine was gleaming into the little country home on Montezuma road. Montezuma road was a long stretch of rocky dirt out in a southern Texas town. The bluebonnets were smiling in the Texas fields; the cornhusks were tall and ready to be picked. The cotton fields were filled with full white, fluffy flowers! Sissy jumped out of her bed and ran to the back door to see Snowball her pet rabbit! She completely missed her Mama who was in the kitchen making fresh tortillas. "Mija, ten cuidado. Don't forget to feed her!" Snowball was a beautiful, white rabbit with soft fur and bright pink eyes. There were so many things to play in the country, but today she was going to play with Snowball...and Chuey next door.

Sneak peak into my children's story. It is a work in progress and would love constructive input in this. Thanks!

BTW...it is an introductory paragraph to a children's story. It is a very innocent audience....LOL!
