Death at my Door
I used to be a normal 12-year old girl who ha a normal life. But I guess something's don't last forever.
It all happened on a dark crisp Halloween night where my friend Coraline and I were out on Main Street, trying to scare little kids by talking in creepy voices and jumping out and yelling "BOO!" As we were rounding a corner a ghastly green light appeared followed by a shrill, cackling voice saying "We have eyes, we have ears, we were here before you took a breath, and we will be hear when you breath your last" "That was creepy." Coraline said "I agree completely." I replied. Then Coraline and I ran home to our parents.
Chapter 2
"I feel very strange today." said Coraline. "Me too, almost as if I'm not in my own body." I replied turning a pasty shade. "You don't look so good" said Coraline. "I don't feel good either." I said before spewing the contents of my stomach on the sodden earth. "Well that explains why you are feeling bad." said Coraline with a teasing smile, "Not funny." I replied getting my senses back.
In class the sensation got worse as the day went on, so by recess I was feeling like someone was taking a knife and brushing it over my skin, and when I bent over it felt as if stabbed me.
Later in class Coraline was as pale as a white sheet that had been soaked in bleach. "May I go to the nurse?" asked Coraline weakly. "Sure go." said the teacher as she ushered Coraline out of the classroom. After the last class I went to her house to see if she is ok and to give her her homework. "Thank you." Coraline said as she opened the door to receive her homework from me. "How are you feeling?" I asked. "Strangely I feel as if I hadn't been sick at all." she said in a questioning voice. "That's strange." I replied thinking. "Wait; remember that night with the green smoke?" I asked Coraline. "Yeah as if that smoke is making us sick" Coraline replied. Suddenly a black car came and a man pulled out a gun and shot them both. After he was put in jail for committing manslaughter.
